IHYCC cheerleaders cheer for the Indian Hill Youth Football Club teams during the fall season.
Regular-season football games begin in August and run through late October. Possible playoff games may run into early November. Cheer practices typically begin in June or July, depending on the coach.
No. IHYCC is its own not-for-profit organization and is a fully volunteer-run organization. All leadership positions and coaching positions are 100% volunteer and receive no funds from the organization.
We rely solely on volunteer coaches! There is one head coach and one assistant coach per team. Interested in coaching? Contact IHYouthCheer@gmail.com
Coaches set and communicate practice times/locations. Typically, there are 1-2 sideline practices per week, but this is up to coaches.
Yes. Attendance at all practices and games is mandatory. Cheer is a team sport; absences impact the entire squad. For illness or emergencies, notify your coach as soon as possible.
Most seasons include 8–10 regular-season games, plus potential playoff games. Games occur on Saturdays or Sundays from August–October.
IHYCC cheerleaders participate in both home and away games. Home games are played at: Indian Hill High School Football Stadium.
IHYCC cheerleaders have the opportunity to participate in the Indian Hill community parades/events, including the 4th of July parade and homecoming parade.
This is optional and based on each coach’s decision.
No. To participate in competition cheer, athletes must be part of the sideline team.

The fee is $x for 2026- for new cheerleaders in need of a uniform. In subsequent years, the registration fee will be lower, and uniform items can be sold individually as needed.
No. Once your uniform is ordered, no refunds will be issued.
No. We do not offer multiple children discounts at this time
Yes. You may pay by check. All checks can be made out to Indian Hill Youth Cheer and given to the Director or Treasurer. Full payment must be received before a uniform is issued.
Squads will close once they reach the max capacity of 25 cheerleaders. Otherwise, registration will close firmly on May 1st to ensure all cheerleaders receive required uniform items in time for the season.
The registration fee covers your uniform, poms, bow, shoes, spirit wear t-shirt, and administrative fees. Administrative fees include: Insurance, Team snap subscription, filing fees, a contribution to coaches' t-shirts, and supplies. We can provide an exact cost breakdown upon request.
Cheerleaders may have optional opportunities to purchase additional IHYCC spirit wear throughout the season and may participate in optional fundraisers.
Competition cheer is optional and has an additional fee. More details will be shared if your coach pursues competition for your squad.
UCA Cheer camp is an additional fee.
Yes—camp is available exclusively for registered IHYCC cheerleaders. Camp builds fundamentals, teamwork, and spirit. We partner with the Universal Cheerleading Association (UCA), the same organization used by junior high and high school cheer programs nationwide. UCA provides trained instructors and curriculum including:
- Motion technique
- Jumps
- Dance
- Props (signs & megaphones)
- Game-day routines
- Introduction to stunting
Camp is a full-day program (9am–3pm). Attendance is strongly encouraged for all registered cheerleaders. More information will be provided on camp specifics!
